Svend Møller Hansen founded the company by a bit of acoincidence, after he as a newly educated blacksmith, stranded in the, at that time, troubled Ireland.
Here he spent the time with an Irish blacksmith, who neededsome large steel structures. And when Svend Møller Hansen returned to Denmark, he decided to open his own steel business in his parents' barn in Hobro.
